Darla: “I’m afraid to trust that people are who they appear to be.  In the last year, I have been blown away after learning of at least two ex-boyfriends, who adopted the gay lifestyle. Though I dated them a bit ago, I remember each of them being very virile and the epitome of manhood.  My fear was further enhanced after I dated a really nice guy for months who turned out to be violent. When he asked me one night to let him see my phone to view my texts and I refused, he slapped me so hard, he broke my jaw.”

Janelle:  “I was engaged to a gorgeous and wealthy doctor.  When I met him, my two sisters and I drooled like teenagers at a concert.  We considered him to be quite a catch, and so did everyone else. Therefore, when I called my family crying after catching him in bed with one of the hotel maids while we were vacationing, they were stunned and I had to be hospitalized.”

Marcella: “Last year, I dated a brother for a little while, who was good-looking, but a bit strange.  He couldn’t seem to make up his mind if he wanted to date me or not.  However, I was still surprised one night, after I confronted him about his weird behavior, and he confessed that he was going through a period of confusion because he enjoyed being with both men and women.”

Kane:  “I proposed to my girlfriend on the same day she planned to break up with me.  When I presented her with a ring, she refused to take it or answer my question. She explained that after a year of dating me, she realized she was in love with her married pastor and had come to the place where my touch on her body had become repulsive.”

Jada:  “My fiance confessed on the eve of our $200,000 wedding, that though he loved me, he couldn’t go through with the wedding because he was also in love with his best friend, who was a former football star.  He said he had been bi-sexual for the last two years and didn’t know how to tell me. He left me on the couch crying, as he drove off with his friend who was outside waiting on him.”
