The Datingnew couple 531-2

The Deception

Glenda was a beautiful woman, who was seldom successful with men.  She had her own rules and standards, and she functioned solely according to them.  She was proud of saying that she didn’t play games.  She never apologized.  She thought only the weak said “I’m sorry.”  If she liked a guy, she didn’t wait for him to call.  After the first date, she’d call and invite herself over. She believed in going after what she wanted.

After a lovely evening spent on her birthday with her boyfriend of two months, she showed up at his door unannounced the next day with a dozen roses.  When a woman answered the door, Glenda became angry, threw the flowers at the woman and stormed off.

When she called her boyfriend and accused him of being deceitful, he told her she came on a little too strong for him, and that his sister (who he explained was visiting from out of town) had answered the door.  He told her he thought it best they didn’t see each other again because he didn’t like jealous women.

After spending the night crying her eyes out, she decided to try to make amends.  The next morning she went back to his house with a box of candy and a note of apology for the sister.  However, no one answered the door.  She decided to peek in the window.  When she did, she saw her boyfriend kissing his “sister” in a long embrace.  She got angry again, threw a brick through the window and drove off in her car.
