Strange Happenings

Lonnie:  “After several strikeouts with some real ditzos, I thought I had finally met a woman with some potential.  We had been dating a few months, and she had it going on until one night we were at a crowded club, and she had to leave to go to the ladies’ room.  When she finally returned to the table, she was giggling as she told me that several brothers hit on her.  It was obvious she enjoyed the attention, but it was really dumb to tell me.  I took her home that night, and never called her again.  I ain’t interested in no woman who eats up attention from other men.  Mine should have been enough!”

Greg:  “I had been involved with this woman for some time, when we were out having dinner one night and I left the table to get something out of my car, I ran into a former female college classmate, who incidentally was very attractive, and stood talking to her about five minutes before I proceeded to my car.  We exchanged numbers and hugged in parting.  When I got back to the table, my date was suddenly sullen and not talking.  When I kept pressing for what was wrong, she accused me of getting “some strange woman’s number” in front of her face and disrespecting her.  Needless to say, that was our last date.”

Tamara: “When I overheard my boyfriend in his bathroom whispering sexual innuendos on his cell phone to another woman, while I was supposed to be in the living room listening to blasting music, I left. I went outside and flattened all his tires.  He bought me an engagement ring the next day, but I was no longer interested. ”

Ava:  “I could never trust a guy with my emotions. My sister lived with this guy for eight years, and he kept promising to marry her as soon as he got some fictitious financial situation straightened out. In the ninth year, he informed her one day that he had fallen in love with someone else, and that he was moving out.  She slit her wrists the next morning, and he didn’t even go to the hospital to see her.”

Keira:  “I accidentally picked up my boyfriend’s cell phone and took it home. When my curiosity got the best of me, I began listening to some of his messages and was shocked to hear a provocative message from one of my best friends inviting him to come over for a little private fun.”

Marla: “I was standing on a downtown corner to cross the street when a real good-looking guy approached me of Arab descent dressed in sultan robes and told me I was the prettiest woman he’d ever seen. He pressed his card and a $100.00 bill in my hand and said if I ever wanted to join him for lunch to call. The next day I was so intrigued, I called the number on the card, but I hung up when a woman answered.”
