Q.  I just found out that my best friend’s girl is secretly heavily involved with her ex-husband, and my buddy is about to give her a ring. He’s got big bucks and I think she’s hanging onto him for his money.  My question is, should I mind my own business, or should I tell him.  He really loves this girl, and I hate to see him get hurt.

A.  If you’re certain that she’s about to trick him, showing him is far better than telling him. Make plain the evidence and then let him make up his own mind.

Q.  What does it mean when a guy tells a woman after four intense dates and a night of heavy sex, that he’s just looking for a friend with no strings attached? Could it be that he’s afraid of serious involvement or he’s just a player who wants friends with benefits?

A.  Don’t fool yourself!  It means exactly just what he said. He wants a “friendship” with sex, but he doesn’t want to be attached romantically. It also means that he doesn’t want you to have any expectations as it relates to commitment or a serious relationship with him.  It also could mean that he’s already “seriously’ Involved with someone else.
