Donna and Greg were on a double date when they met and they both were with other people.  Greg liked Donna almost instantly, but she really seemed to be into the guy she was with.  Greg stared at her the entire evening and because Greg was with someone he deemed a casual involvement, he tried in subtle ways to get Donna’s attention, but she didn’t bite.  He eventually gave up and focused his attention on his date..

A month later, he ran into Donna at the bank, and this time he expressed his attraction and it turned out to be mutual.  They dated heavily for four months, and Greg suddenly began to pull away. He became elusive and evasive.  When Donna finally cornered him one day leaving work, he confessed he was back seeing the woman he was dating when they first met, and had decided to marry her. He claimed he just didn’t know how to tell her.  Donna screamed at him using all kinds of obscenities because she had dumped her boyfriend for him. She keyed his car as she walked away, and threatened to smash his face if she saw him again.

The next night Greg’s car windows were smashed and his tires were slashed.  He told the police he firmly believed Donna did it, but he couldn’t prove it.  The following morning he called off his wedding and sent Donna a long text of apology.
