The Love Poll
What Women Really Want…
by Jovan Tahale
I recently ran across an online survey that claimed to have polled over 500 single women on their attitudes concerning men and their various preferences. I decided to share the results I found interesting. See if you agree.
81% – felt flowers were the most romantic gift a man could give.
68% – would rather hear a sincere “I love you” rather than an expensive gift with no verbal expression from the object of their affection.
42% – favored men with beards or mustaches.
53% – felt that a man should be financially responsible for all dates he initiates.
71% – said that a man’s personality has a lot to do with his sex appeal.
52% – said that a man’s eyes were his most attractive asset. Hands came in second.
88% – chose honesty as the most important character trait a man could have.
45% – chose gentleness as the most romantic quality a man could have.
53% – rated appeal and companionship over the man’s occupation.
34% – preferred not to date men who had been married more than once.
46% – would never date the ex-boyfriend or ex-husband of a friend.
43% – did not believe in long engagements.
58% – preferred men who earned as much as they did or more.
39% – preferred not to date men with children.
