10 Steps To

Satisfied Living…

Slow Down.  Schedule time to spend with yourself.  In this way, you declare yourself important. Place yourself at the center of your life.  If you don’t, why should anyone else?

Mingle More.  Join a group that’s doing something you like.  Get out and go where the action is!

Discover The World.  Make it a practice to do something you’ve never done before once a month and schedule it.

Give More.  Get involved in helping others.  Spend at least two days a month volunteering at a local hospital or nursing home.  Remember the more you give the more you’ll get.

Settle Your Differences.  Don’t go to bed mad at anybody.  Be big enough to admit when you’ve made a mistake or when you’re wrong. Voice your frustration and forgive where you need to.

Trust Your Instincts.  If it doesn’t feel right…don’t do it or go near it.  This will alleviate you creating problems for yourself.

Don’t Match Yourself.  Never compare yourself to others. Accept who you are and work at being the best you can be.

Body Up. Make your body a priority as it relates to your health and appearance.  Consider what you eat and the effect it’ll have on your body and your psyche.

Tap Your Talent And Cash In On It.  Assess your skills and strive to cash in on them. Think about all the things you like to do, and then consider what you’re good at, and see if you can come up with a way to get paid to do it.

Switch Out.  Change what needs to be changed.  Simplify your world.  Eliminate, fix, and strengthen all that isn’t perfect for you right now.  Set a goal for your surroundings to fit your style.  Don’t tolerate people or situations that cause you pain, irritation, or frustration.  Make more of your day. Trade the “tv screen” for a book or activity. Say no to things that don’t fit into your scheme of thinking. Make quality in your life your highest priority.
