The Decision

 Angie and Kirk had been dating a month when Angie decided that he just wasn’t what she was looking for in a companion.

He was handsome and nice, but he was moody and not affectionate enough for her.  She had tried to draw him out by being affectionate, but it hadn’t worked.  Her decision to end the relationship was prompted when she grabbed his hand crossing the street one day and he snatched it away.

 That evening, as they sat watching television in her apartment, she told him candidly that she wanted to end their relationship because their personalities just didn’t match, and that she preferred a man who was not so stiff.  She was completely taken aback, when he suddenly became angry and then violent.  He ended up beating and raping her with his hand over her mouth.  When he got up to leave, Angie reached under her bed and pulled out a gun and shot him in the back.  He died on her bedroom floor, and the police called it self-defense.
