Discovered …

Discovery:  By chance, I found out that I didn’t understand nearly as much as I thought I did about myself or others.  I learned that true understanding is an art that includes listening well without the distraction of one’s own insecurities, ego badgering, and needs or desires.  In order to accomplish this, one must be willing and able to look objectively into one’s own soul and subjectively into the heart of others.

Lesson:   If something truly bothers you, you should not sit on it and allow it to fester into a sea of resentment. You should confront it with relief in mind, and be prepared to “let the chips fall where they may,” even if it means losing something of value.

Discovery:  The less others know about you–the better.

Lesson:  There can be immeasurable power and accomplishment in the use of silence as a communication tool.

Discovery: Evil can lurk beneath a sweet smile and marvelous words.

Discovery: What you eat makes a significant difference in how healthy you feel.

Discovery – A man’s mind can be raised to the consciousness level of the woman with whom he associates..

Lesson   Nothing is impossible with God, and faith has great reward.

Discovery:  Behind many handsome faces lies the pain of loneliness

Discovery:  Winning the battle against self.  When I exercised self-control over the rallying of my spirit against restraint of any kind, I felt powerful and satisfied.

Discovery:   The enemy can be in your camp, disguised as a friend.  Hurt can only come from someone inside your gates.

Discovery:  Kindness can yield great benefits. .

Lesson:  A lot can change in 24 hours.

Lesson:  When you give, it cannot be attached to any expectation.

Discovery:  Passiveness is an epidemic of high proportions.
