• Never quote on a sporadic basis, various statements or comments from others made favorably regarding your qualities.  Let us find out for ourselves.
• We always want to hear what you find special about us.  Words are very important to us.
• Never compliment another woman about her hair or dress, and you have not mentioned how great the woman who is with you looks.
• Never refer to your ex-anybody more than once.  It says to us that the relationship is not dead, and you’re still hooked emotionally.
• Do not talk to others in our presence in public without acknowledging our presence.
• Do not ask for our phone number unless you plan to use it. 
• If we are romantically inclined, don’t introduce us as your friend.  Since girlfriend is not much better, please refer to us as your sweetie or honey.
• Women are naturally intuitive.  Accept it.  When we tell you that you can’t trust John Doe…believe it.
• Don’t say you love us unless you mean it.  It’s a word we take to our graves.
• Never display disapproval of us in a public setting.  Any critique of dress, behavior, or comments made, should be done later in private.
• We prefer flowers or jewelry for gifts.
• Never turn and look at another woman, if you’re in our company.
• Don’t ever mention the word marriage unless it is something you are giving serious consideration to.  Like love, it’s a word we carry in our bosom and hold onto with great hope.
• Your “business” cannot make you a bowl of soup when you’ve got a bad cold.  Keep that in mind the next time you’re tempted to use it as an excuse.
