Here are the results of a recent survey where over 500 women were polled on their dating attitudes, experiences, and what they really want in a relationship.
81% – felt flowers were the most romantic gift from a guy.
68% – would rather hear a sincere “I love you” rather than an expensive gift from the object of their affection.
53% – felt that a guy should be financially responsible for all dates he initiates.
71% – said that a man’s personality has a lot to do with his sex appeal.
88% – chose honesty as the most important character trait a man could have.
45% – chose gentleness as the most romantic quality a man could have.
36% – would never date the ex-boyfriend or ex-husband of a friend.
33% – had dated a married man before.
38% – admitted to not knowing how to graciously refuse a request from a guy for their phone number, when they were not interested.
22% – felt that it is best in a relationship when a guy is more in love than the woman.
37% – regretted loaning money to a love interest.
51% – felt that New Year’s Eve, Birthdays, and Valentine’s Day were the three hardest days in the year to be without a mate.
57% – felt that overall, men fare better in marriage than women.
71% -in a relationship, preferred the truth in the worst circumstances imaginable.
41% – had participated in a triangle relationship before.
19% – did not date men with children.
