The Fruit Flush Diet

A great way to start the new year. According to Jay Robb, the clinical nutritionist who wrote the E-book, The Fruit Diet, you can lose up to 10 pounds in a week, begin the process of flushing fat out of your system, and be on the road to losing unwanted weight in a healthy tasty way.

Studies show that eating fruit and lots of it can slim you down to the weight you want.  This diet is for all who need to lose weight, whether it’s 10 pounds or 200 pounds, and it’s a delicious way to do it.  I ought to know because I tried this diet, and it really works.  I lost 10 pounds in 12 days.

To start this diet, you must consume the fruit that has the highest volume of water, because water is what helps melt the fat and the toxins in your body.  The following fruits are the top 14 fat-flushing fruits.

Strawberries                           Peaches

Raspberries                             Tangerines

Watermelon                            Oranges

Grapefruit                               Apricots

Cantaloupe                              Pineapple

Honeydew                               Blueberries

Papaya                                    Apples

For three days, I forced myself to drink 4 bottles of water, (equal to 8 glasses) and I ate watermelon, cantaloupe, avocado, grapefruit, and blueberries.   I lost 11 pounds in 12 days.  I also experienced the newfound energy I had been missing.

The good thing is that my goal was 10 pounds, and I exceeded my goal.  A close friend needed to lose 25 pounds, and she went on this diet for two weeks and lost 17 pounds.

For someone who has a lot of weight to lose, this is a great way to kick off your weight loss program.

This 7-day diet should be followed with continued delicious fruit-filled days.  Eat as much raw fruit as possible, for breakfast and lunch, and for dinner, each day, enjoy 3-5 ounces of lean protein (like chicken or fish) with a large raw veggie salad, or vegetables sprinkled with 1 to 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and have as many berries as you like.  And one day each week, you can indulge yourself by eating whatever you want.  Losing weight will become a fun challenge to reach your desired goal.

Suggestion:  Combine fruit in a blender for breakfast and do a plate of fruit for lunch.  While on this diet, I also discovered that gourmet jelly beans, such as Jelly Belly contain pectin, which is also a fat flusher and I enjoyed quite a few during this time, which I still enjoy sporadically.
