6 Sure Ways To Find Love This Spring

by M.K. Allison

Well, it’s that time again and no time is more anticipated than spring.  Spring makes singles the world over dream of romance with that special someone.  And this spring can be the best one yet for all singles without mates.  It all depends on you, your energy and your commitment to meeting Mr./Ms. Right.  If you wish to meet people, you must go where they are or bring them to you.  Here are some great, “make it happen this spring” tips.

Go jogging or walking in the parks. Always wear attractive athletic attire that makes you noticeable.  You never know who’s watching you and the parks are loaded with people in the springtime who are hoping to make a “love connection.”  Every time I walk in the park, I get flirted with the whole time.

Buy a bike and ride it. My friend Susie met her husband (a dentist) the first day she rode on the bike path in her city.  Another friend, Tom met his fiancée when he stopped to help her fix the chain on her bike.

Go skating – Most skating rinks host an adult night where many professional singles come out to skate and mingle. Buy yourself a pair of skates and discover a world of fun, excitement, and interesting people.  I went skating recently and had the time of my life.  I met more men in an hour than I’ve ever met at a party.  My local skating rink is known as “hook-up heaven.”

Attend local softball games…are great spots for men and women to meet rugged sports types. The men are usually in abundance here and an attractive woman can have a field day.  Look your best and become an interested spectator.  You’ll also have a great time.

Throw a “Friend Fest” Party and invite at least five men and five women. Each guy has to bring another guy and each woman must bring another woman.  No couples allowed.  Have the women bring a dish and the men bring a bottle of wine.  Organize games to play.  I did this last year and met some very interesting people.  I also met a guy that I ended updating.

The Supermarket – Make your next trip for grocery shopping a fashion statement. After leaving church one Sunday.  I stopped in a local supermarket and I literally stopped traffic in the aisles with a simple elegant suit and high heeled pumps.  I got so many offers by the time I got to the checkout counter that my head was spinning.  One guy even offered to pay for my groceries in exchange for my phone number.  (He was joking of course)  The key here is to look good and be friendly when spoken to.  Fate will take care of the rest.  I know this because my brother met his wife-to-be in the supermarket when she began flirting with him at the meat counter, where she worked.
