NEW YORK:  We heard that a popular shipping executive with an eye for the ladies broke up with his longtime girlfriend and failed to retrieve the keys to his car.  While he was out dining in a fancy restaurant with a new sweetie, the ex-girlfriend showed up, spotted the car, and got in to wait for ol’ boy to beg back his hand.  But when he came out with his new love, the ex-girlfriend started a fight with the other woman and the guy ended up driving off alone.  We hear he has since retrieved his keys, changed the locks, and is now escorting a new face around town.

HOUSTON:  After five years of dating the same man without a marriage proposal, a certain schoolteacher decided to take the matter into her own hands.   She was convinced by a friend, who happened to be a reporter at a local TV station, to propose to him on-air. Word is that he accepted on the air, but later recanted his yes, claiming he didn’t want to embarrass her in public.  Two weeks later, she ended the relationship.

LOS ANGELES:  Two best friends from this town had a double wedding and the newlywed four flew off to Majorca, Spain on their honeymoon.  However, two days after arriving, one of the girls disappeared with a handsome local and didn’t resurface until the day of departure.  Needless to say, divorce is pending, as well as charges are being filed against the disgruntled groom who body-slammed his “wife” to the ground when she did show up.

PHILADELPHIA:  A lovely wedding ceremony recently took place between a woman who had lost her foot in a boating accident and the surgeon who attended her during her hospital stay.  Sources say the bride was stunning as she and the groom walked the aisle together, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the place, as her eight bridesmaids stood and cheered when she entered the church.

ATLANTA:  We’re upset because we didn’t receive the incredibly designed invitation to a “Garden BBQ”.  (We would have flown down.)  It was a full-color 8×10 that was sent to only seventy-five lucky invitees.  It is said that the road to the home of the wealthy bachelor host, was invaded by hundreds of party wannabees who tried unsuccessfully to get through the iron gates and the specially hired security guards.  The pool party lasted all night and ended with breakfast being served on the veranda of his spacious mansion.
