It was Friday and Carla was in no hurry to go home.  She decided to stop and eat at a small restaurant near her job, where she loved the food.  She sat at a table near the window.  It was a warm summer night and she wished she were walking on the nearby beach in the balmy air, but as usual she was alone.

On the other side of the restaurant, Sam sat down, and immediately loosened his tie.  It had been a long day and he was in no hurry to head home to an empty apartment.  As the restaurant suddenly began to fill with people, Sam and Carla, who were sitting alone at two different tables, were asked by the waiter if they’d mind sharing a table, so a party of four could be accommodated.  They did…they ate…they talked and laughed.  They ended the evening by walking on the beach together and exchanging numbers.  The next day, they went to an amusement park together, and thus began an affair to remember.  That was still a year ago and they’re still together.
